I use this memory game in my work as an occupational therapist with adults with brain injury and with my mother who has memory loss.
The images are not childish, so an adult does not feel insulted working with this game. It promotes specific recall of features and can be graded from easy to challenging depending on the number of tiles I use. It is a fun, therapeutic, and appropriate activity that has enhanced my therapy sessions! I really like the uniqueness of this game.
It lets children see that there are many different people in the world. It's great for children who like mine are interracial so they can see that there is a range of people. I love it so much I bought another for my niece and nephew. Wonderful fun for young children and additionally good for them to see children of all walks of life - different skin color, hair, eyes, etc. Memory games are memory games, and they all pretty much have the same format, but this one gives you a chance to expose your child to the rainbow of colors, cultural influences, and differences and can also be good talking points.
I expect this toy to fascinate my child for many years to come.
