I follow all of the previous connection instructions but I can only get to a company Portal. One excuse was they were waiting for a patch from Cisco for Vista to operate. Is there anything else that can be done to Vista to allow its use for VPN? Thanks in advance.

I tested one of my Vista PCs with the native client and the Cisco VPN client and both worked without too much effort - so it will be rather difficult for me to test the failing process :- Unfortunately the ASA that I was connecting to, is not setup correctly our German IT dept looks after it and they're just using a pre-shared key.
