I'm not familiar with the term "junction" as used in your posts. Sorry to hijack your thread, we can take this into a new thread if you'd like. To continue this discussion, please ask a new question. Get answers from your peers along with millions of IT pros who visit Spiceworks.
At a non-elevated command prompt, i can access it fine. I can access the destination of the junction via Windows Explorer fine. Any ideas as to what might be causing this behavior? Thank You. Joined Feb 18, Messages I am experiencing a problem with Micrsoft Word and Googled a solution which is to change the location of the Temporary Internet Files folder however, I can only get to a certain point. Here are the instructions: This problem occurs because the Temporary Internet Files location for Internet Explorer is set to be an unexpected location.
Specifically, the Temporary Internet Files location for Internet Explorer is set to be a location in which the user does not have permissions to create new temporary files. In the Internet Options dialog box, click the General tab. And if it is necessary, content is migrated to the new location. Click OK to close the Browse for Folder dialog box.
Click OK to close the Internet Options dialog box. Restart the computer when you are prompted. I have opened all of the folders such as program files, Windows etc; but cannot find a the files that I am instructed to scroll to.
Any help is much appreciated. Joined Aug 1, Messages 51, Open Internet Options. Under "Browser History", click "Settings". I have ran a malwarebytes, avast, and adwcleaner scan and came back with nothing. I have the same question Report abuse. Details required :. Cancel Submit.
